Tips and guidelines for shopping tax free in Croatia

Standard VAT rate: 25% - For fashion, textiles, leather wear, jewellery, glassware, sunglasses, wines and other alcohol.
Reduced VAT rate 13% - Periodical newspapers and magazines, edible oils and fats, whit sugar, baby car seats and baby food.
Reduced VAT rate 5% - Medical equipment, science magazines and daily magazines, drugs, milk, bread, books.
Minimum purchase amount: 740 HRK

Who is eligible for Tax Free Shopping?
Travellers who have permanent and temporary residence in a non-EU country.

Stamping period: Issuing month + 3 months
Validity of stamped Form: 6 months from the issuing date of TFF

Tax Free goods:
Refunds are paid on goods that are exported in the traveller’s personal luggage.
Exported goods must be unused and sealed.
Non-refundable goods: Petrol and goods to equip or supply any means of transport used for private purposes.
