How does it work?
To access Global Blue’s Mobile Customer Care on WeChat, all you need to do is follow the Global Blue WeChat account.
Once you have accessed and initiated the service, you will benefit from transaction-triggered communication updates, which will guide you through the Tax Free Shopping process and remind you about what you need to do, right from your initial purchase in-store, through to the refund being paid into your account.
For example, when you make each Tax Free Shopping transaction you will be sent a notification, encouraging you to track your refund status and set a refund reminder via a mobile-optimised website, accessed via the WeChat browser.
In addition, one day before your departure you will receive a reminder of what to do and where to go to claim your refund at the airport. Once you get home, the confirmation of your refund is sent to your phone with a link to the detailed transaction.
