London may still be in the depths of winter but the capital has plenty of exciting events, fun pop-ups and restaurant openings to make the month brighter. February sees the return of Valentine’s Day and London has a host of new restaurants that would make great date venues, including Emilia’s Crafted Pasta in Aldgate and California-inspired AOK Kitchen & Bakery in Marylebone. On the 5 February, London celebrates Chinese New Year; the Year of the Pig will be ushered in by the wealth of Chinese restaurants in the city, so there are plenty of places where you can celebrate. Head to Orient London in London’s Chinatown for a special Chinese New Year menu. London Fashion Week returns this month and to mark the event Anya Hindmarch has created a new interactive art installation called the Weave Project. With so much going on in the capital this month, spring will arrive before you know it.
