W1Curates brings an eclectic animated visual art installation to the new Flannels luxury shopping destination on London’s Oxford Street this autumn.
The store, which opened last month, boasts designer shopping spanning four luxuriously designed floors covering an impressive 18,000 square feet. The eye-catching facade is the focal point, captivating passers-by with its visionary 4K digital screen display day and night. The moving arts installation promotes artists who are transforming urban cityscapes, and showcases a series of colourful and creative interchanging visuals, adding a dynamic vision to the famous shopping street. Until 16 October, British artist Ian Davenport, a graduate of Goldsmiths, University of London, takes centre stage across the screens with his signature abstract works.
Setting new trends, intertwining painting and printmaking, the creative display mimics the vertical lines and gravity of traditional painting methods, with the lines merging at the base into an explosive pool of colour.
