Japanese fashion brand Uniqlo has made its mark in the fashion industry with its high-quality basics, heat-tech fabrics and spectacular collaborations. Opening its first store in 1984, Uniqlo has collaborated with some of the biggest names in both fashion and pop culture, with previous partnerships including Jil Sander, Undercover, Tomas Maier and street artist Kaws.
This month, Uniqlo has once again joined sartorial forces with London-based brand JW Anderson for their third collection line together. Following successful launches in autumn/winter 2017 and spring/summer 2018, the collaboration offer a new collection of covetable clothes and accessories for men and women for spring/summer 2019. The new collection focuses on Uniqlo’s everyday wardrobe of high-quality materials, fit and functionality, and JW Anderson’s cool British design aesthetic. Classic British pieces such as women’s trench coats and paisley prints will sit next to men’s rugby shirts and shorts, and there is a suite of unisex basic items, perfect for slotting into your SS19 wardrobe. Famous for accessories, JW Anderson has also designed a range of bags and hats which are sure to be one of the best buys of the new season.
