Pioneering London concept store The Shop at Bluebird is relocating its flagship in May 2018. Moving away from the store’s Chelsea roots, the new three-storey space will be housed in Carriage Hall on Covent Garden’s Floral Street. Occupying a central and accessible position, the 15,000 square-foot space will host a roster of leading designers as well as the edgy and eclectic mix that the store has come to be known for. New highlights include Chloé, Alexander McQueen and Victoria Beckham, as well as contemporary labels such as Ganni and Rixo London.
Not content with simply offering some of the world’s top brands, The Shop at Bluebird seeks to become a unique lifestyle emporium. Alongside the fashion labels, dedicated spaces have been given to Blink Brow Bar, Avery Perfume Gallery and renowned Italian candle and lifestyle brand Fornasetti. The first floor will feature an art space curated by William Ling from the Fashion Illustration Gallery and, with a restaurant and roof terrace set to open in the summer, you’ll want to stay all day.
‘For the past 12 years, The Shop at Bluebird has been London’s best-keep secret. A place to shop for luxury fashion, contemporary art and industry-favourite beauty brands in a setting unlike anywhere else in our city,’ explains Claire Miles, head of The Shop at Bluebird. ‘Our success story now is the foundation of our new home in central London, where we’ll be creating a whole new chapter for the brand and taking experiential retailing to another level.’
