The designer twins kicked off their spring show with a live performance by British singer Kate Nash, who channelled her inner rock chick. Once the show started, models showcased a selection of soft and floaty chiffon pieces reminiscent of a bright spring day. The floor-length gowns featured nipped-in waists and high leg splits, while the daytime pieces were more colourful with pops of sheer animal prints teamed with neutral toned tops. The collection featured many above-the-knee styles, which saw the classic mini revived with the addition of appliqué details and ruffles. Models walked the runway in a selection of vibrant gold-trimmed platform shoes, suggesting that the autumn/winter 2012/13 trend for gold detailing is sticking around for the coming months.
