Since the beginning of 2018, Moncler has launched various instalments of its ground-breaking new Moncler Genius project, which comprises eight sections that have each been created by different designers. 3 Moncler Grenoble is the latest collection to be unveiled under the Genius umbrella; designed by Sandro Mandrino, who held the position of head of design for Moncler Grenoble for seven years, the collection champions high-end skiwear.
Mandrino has paired the technical aspects of skiwear with influences from the 1960s in the use of velvets, paisley and floral motifs across tracksuits, cropped jackets, pea coats with shearling collars, gloves, hiking boots and more. Pieces are designed to be mixed and matched in a wide range of combinations: patterns, prints and bright bursts of colour bring an eye-catching twist to performancewear, while the collection also offers more understated styles in greys and black.
The collection can be discovered at the brand’s boutique on Sloane Street, which has been turned into the first temporary store for the Moncler Grenoble collection: with an interior design that echoes Moncler’s distinctive identity and the spirit of winter sports, this store is the perfect setting to shop this exciting new collection.
