The Casely-Hayford fashion label is popular among well-dressed London men for its British aesthetic, which combines sharp sartorial style with a dash of anarchy.
London’s fashion destinations range from top department stores such as Selfridges and Harvey Nichols to the chic boutiques of Sloane Square. When we spoke to Joe Casely-Hayford, the fashion designer behind the label, he cited London as the world’s best fashion capital for menswear. He rates east London as the area of the moment, due to its eclectic style and fashion-forward trends.
However, his son Charlie, co-founder of the label, picks west London as the go-to district for menswear. His store of choice is Dover Street Market in Mayfair, as you never know what to expect when you enter the six-floor fashion outlet. Every week new labels arrive, with ever-changing styles, and visitors can find unique and inspiring pieces from Jil Sander, Comme des Garçons and Lanvin, to name just a few.
Whichever side of London you prefer to shop, you’re sure to find chic menswear to suit your personal style.
