Just in time for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Cartier is taking over the concept space at Selfridges to stage an exhibition about the history of the diamond. Cartier Loves Diamonds, which runs from 2 April until 29 April, has three sections. The first exhibition space features archive images and information about the French jeweller’s illustrious heritage as well as stories about some of Cartier’s most iconic jewels, including the Hope Diamond. A second space will showcase the brand’s fine jewellery pieces, including the Oriental tiara, in specially created installations. The third section, the bridal bar, allows visitors to browse Cartier’s selection of dazzling engagement rings and consult the brand’s diamond experts.
