Laboratory Perfumes Amber eau de toilette, £65
British fragrance brand Laboratory Perfumes is one of the most chic labels to emerge in the last few years. It strips fragrance back to basics to create timelessly wearable, beautiful scents. An unconventional breath of fresh air, the brand is heralded for its unisex fragrances that have been scientifically formulated to react to the wearer and develop over the course of a day. Inspired by flowers, herbs and aromatic botanicals, the brand has five fragrances in its offering so far; Amber, Gorse, Samphire, Tonka and Atlas. Each perfume is made with environmentally friendly principles and cruelty-free ingredients, which are non-animal derived. Amber, the brand’s first fragrance, is a stunning unisex scent. Designed to evoke Britain’s countryside and coastline, with warm, earthy wood and balmy ambergris, it is a sensual, alluring perfume.

Floral Street London Wonderland Peony eau de parfum, £55
Floral Street is known for its mastery of natural ingredients. The British fragrance brand uses traditional floral notes and then twists them to create vibrant and unusual fragrances that are inspired by the young, modern British woman. The collection of eight floral perfumes does not use any animal-derived ingredients. All the fragrances are inspired by different personalities so, whether you are looking for something sweet and radiant or something slightly more unusual and rebellious (try Ylang Ylang Espresso), there is a scent for you.
Abel Green Cedar eau de parfum, £98
100% natural fragrance house Abel is the brainchild of former winemaker Frances Shoemack and master perfumer Isaac Sinclair, who sought to create the best natural perfumes in the world. Each fragrance in the Abel collection is composed of a highly concentrated mixture of natural oils and isolates – the latter is used to gain access to ingredients previously unavailable in a natural perfumer’s palette. Using natural ingredients allows the fragrance to develop on the skin, working with the body’s chemistry to create a unique scent. There are six all-natural unisex fragrances in the collection, and Green Cedar is the latest addition. Marrying two types of cedar, from forests in Texas and the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, the aromatic result is reminiscent of North Africa.
