Bicester Village continues the success of its pop-up fashion spaces with a one-of-a-kind pop-up celebrating the creative talent of Chinese fashion designers.
Following the popular British Fashion Council pop-up last autumn, the village celebrates creative art from Chinese fashion designers. Curated by leading fashion influencer Susie Bubble, the unique space brings together a mix of 10 well-established and up-and-coming Chinese fashion designers, including BFC Fashion Trust and LVMH award finalist Huishan Zhang, alongside new and exciting talent such as Anaïs Jourden, Mukzin, I Am Chen, Marieyat, Xu Zhi, Ryan Lo, Matter Matters, Yang Li and Snow Xue Gao. The designers are graduates from world-famous fashion schools, have showcased their designs across catwalks in Europe and have launched their own labels. Each will offer a special edit of their contemporary pieces which are available to buy.
Additionally, the village hosts Chinese New Year festivities, which include a YiFang Taiwanese fruit tea pop-up and newly opened Shan Shui restaurant offering South East Asian fusion cuisine for a spot of flavourful lunch.
The pop-up opening coincides with the launch of Bicester Village’s New Voices 2019 programme, a year-long series events providing a global platform and voice for creatives in the world of fashion, art and design.
The Celebrating China pop-up boutique is open 29 January-17 February 2019.
