Czapek & Cie delights the city of Geneva with a new timepiece boutique and workshop featuring a catalogue of watches and limited-edition timepieces, including an innovative crystal sculpture produced in collaboration with Czech glassmaker Moser Glassworks
Inside the boutique
Founded in 1845, luxury watchmaker Czapek & Cie recently opened a glamorous timepiece boutique in the heart of Geneva, also sharing the space with the brand’s headquarters and workshop.
Taking inspiration from Polish founder François Czapek’s first store in Geneva along the prestigious Quai des Bergues shopping street, the cosy new store boasts an inviting and homely interior, providing clients an intimate experience when searching for the perfect timepiece.
Rich, deep-toned wood furnishings are accented, with key models highlighted in brightly lit display cabinets. Customers can find the brand’s signature Quai des Bergues collections alongside limited-edition models.
Here we share three new Czapek & Cie models available in store:
Czapek & Cie and Moser Glassworks Sands of Time
Unveiled at Baselworld 2019, this revolutionary hourglass sculpture is the result of a collaboration between Czapek & Cie and famous Czech glass manufacturer Moser Glassworks. The dynamic new timepiece explores the beauty of time, through Czapek & Cie’s expert watchmaking knowledge and Moser Glassworks’ creativity in bespoke glassmaking. The unique mouth-blown bohemian crystal sculpture is also hand-polished and alternates between a marine blue and green hue as it measures time up to five minutes. Limited to just 18 pieces, the souvenir item stands the test of time on the mantlepiece.

Place Vendôme Etincelles and Ombres
Focusing on haute horology, the luxury Place Vendôme collection features two version of its highest-end model for 2019. Featuring a tourbillon movement and GMT function, the new timepieces are available in titanium and a model set in glittering diamonds.
Offering two aura spectrums, the Ombres (shadow) model delivers character though a suspended tourbillon and second time zone window at 4 o’clock, and a tough and robust grade-five titanium casing, framed with a delicate and slimline bezel.
The Etincelles (light) model adds sparkling highlights with a bezel set with 72 baguette-cut diamonds. The refined white alabaster enamel dial is accented with an elegant platinum case and fleur de lys hand, a symbolic feature of the original Place Vendôme piece. The sleek tourbillon offers a long lasting power reserve of 60 hours and is accessorised with a black alligator leather strap and platinum-finished buckle.
