Where do you live?
What do you like best about Barcelona?
It’s a spectacular city that has lots of amazing spots. I really like the art deco architecture and magic streets. And of course the weather is really nice.
If money was no object, where would you live?
I’d live on a desert island with my boyfriend and friends, eating tropical fruits and talking to toucans.
Which are your favourite Barcelona stores?
My mother’s store, Lydia Delgado, Carrer de Minerva 21, is amazing!
And your favourite restaurants?
La Mariona, Carrer d’Amigó 53, is handy as it’s close to my house and has a very cosy atmosphere. I also like the Casa Fernández restaurant, Carrer de Santaló 46. It’s been a favourite of mine since I was a child.
Can you recommend any local dishes to try?
Pan amb tomàquet [bread with tomato and olive oil] is absolutely delicious!
Where do you take friends who are visiting Barcelona for the first time?
I’m not the best tourist guide, but I’d say the best plan is to rent a bike and cycle from Pedralbes to the Forum on a hot and sunny day.
How do you like to travel around the city?
By bike or scooter.
Which is your favourite Barcelona monument?
There is a sculpture on a crossroad between Rambla Catalunya and Diagonal of a giraffe. It’s nothing special, but it brings me good memories.
Do you have any advice for visitors?
Look up when walking through Barcelona as you’ll discover lots of different and interesting things on buildings.
Can you recommend any good hotels?
I’ve just discovered the U232, Carrer del Comte d’Urgell 232, and it really surprised me. I also very much like Hotel Omm, Carrer del Rosselló 265.
