Where were you born?
La Moraleja in Madrid.
Where do you live?
I currently live in London but visit my home town often.
Which is your favourite Madrid neighbourhood?
Barrio de Salamanca where I spent some time when I was growing up. My friends are all there and my father’s store is there. I also really like Las Salesas district, it's a really up-and-coming area, my sister has two fashion boutiques there and it has a cool bohemian feel that I love.
If money was no object, where would you live?
I would live for one month in every city in the world. I love to travel and can’t stay in the same place too long.
Which are your favourite Madrid stores?
Yube on Calle Fernando VI. It’s my sister’s store and always has the best designs from the best designers. And Nicol’s fine jewellery on José Ortega y Gasset. It’s my family’s store and has amazing designs.
Where are the best bargains to be found?
El Rastro market, where you can find all the best vintage and second-hand bargains in the city.
Which are your favourite Madrid restaurants?
El Comité, which is a great French bistro in downtown Madrid on Plaza San Amaro. They’ve just launched their al fresco terrace, which is lovely on a warm summer evening. And Hotel Wellington on Calle Velázquez, where I’ve had the best sushi of my life, and definitely the best in Madrid.
Do you have a favourite local café or pub?
I always go to El Basha on Plaza Matute for drinks and dancing with friends.
Can you recommend any local foods to try?
Visit Mercado de San Antón on Calle Augusto Figueroa in Chueca, an amazing market with great food, brilliant pizzerias and restaurants. It’s a really cool place, with a fantastic roof terrace and you can find amazing traditional Spanish food there.
Where do you take out-of-town friends?
We have to go to the Museo del Prado and see all the amazing art. Also Las Salesas, which is a cool area. We have to go out at night because the nightlife in Madrid is exciting. And of course, we have to find the best paella!
Where do you like to celebrate?
I love to celebrate in La Moraleja, the district where I was born. I have so many friends there; it’s a lovely area in the north of the city. Madrid is always sunny and the houses there are beautiful with their own swimming pools and terraces. We love to meet in houses. Also La Moraleja is getting better, there’s so many new cafes, bars and restaurants.
Do you have a favourite walk in Madrid?
I like to walk through Barrio de Salamanca where you can find all the best shops. I’ve spent all my life there so I have a lot of memories and I feel so at home.
How do you like to travel around the city?
I’ve always had to use the car. I’d love to travel around Madrid by bike, but there are so many hills, it’s almost impossible!
Which do you think is the best museum in Madrid?
The Museo del Prado.
Which person from Madrid do you most admire?
All of my family, they’ve worked so hard and have done so much.
Can you reveal any secret spots?
I don’t want to keep anything secret, I’ve told you about all of my favourite places. I love Madrid and want everyone else to love it too!
Any advice for visitors?
Don’t go in August when it’s really hot, the best weather is in September.
Can you recommend any good hotels?
I love Hotel Urban on Carrera de San Jerónimo. You can get fabulous cocktails from the bar.
What can’t you live without?
My iPhone and my Mac.
Tell us a secret.
I’m so excited about my collaboration with Topshop!
