Yusty, founded over 100 years ago, is one of Madrid’s favourite fashion stores for men. Taking a new direction, it has branched out into womenswear with the opening of a new store, Ambrosia. This new retail space is located on Calle de Claudio Coello in a neighbourhood home to a wealth of boutiques from global luxury brands. Loewe’s new flagship store is situated in the heart of Madrid’s Salamanca district. Finally completed after years of planning and work, the three-storey 19th-century building now houses floors for men’s fashion, women’s fashion and accessories, as well as departments dedicated to exotic leather and made-to-measure. Natural light floods in through large windows, highlighting the modern decor and neutral cream interiors with carpets by Jason Collingwood, British antiques and remarkable artwork. A flower shop inspired by British author and florist Constance Spry gives a final unique twist to Loewe’s new headquarters.
