Shot by photographer Mario Sorrenti (Kate Moss’s former flame), Mango’s sultry AW17 campaign was styled by Aleksandra Woroniecka, who was appointed fashion director of Vogue Paris earlier this year, and stars Anna Ewers and Freja Beha alongside supermodel Amber Valletta.
The womenswear collection has been designed to blur the lines between masculine and feminine, with oversized blazers and military-inspired pieces alongside ethereal dresses and ladylike silhouettes. Brushed velvet, florals and checks in an autumnal palette of mustard, brick red and olive green are to the fore.
The menswear campaign stars French film star Olivier Martinez and model Jegor Venned, who comes from the Faroe Islands. Volume is a major theme for the collection, which includes extra-long overcoats and oversized parkas and knitwear. More classic garments such as a double-breasted blazer and a shearling-lined aviator-style jacket also feature.
