Cartier is known worldwide for elegant and timeless classic jewellery. To highlight its distinguished history since its launch in 1847, the French heritage brand is exhibiting more than 400 pieces of fine jewellery from the Cartier Collection at the Thyssen-Bornemisza museum in Madrid.
The Arte de Cartier exhibition displays a selection of jewellery, timepieces and clocks from Cartier’s historical archives, including pieces worn by the late Elizabeth Taylor and Princess Grace of Monaco. On display until 17 February 2013, the exhibition showcases Cartier’s associations with ancient history and cultures through myriad pieces of artistic jewellery.
