Madrid Street Style 2012: model behaviour backstage

Backstage at Madrid Fashion Week, models made their off-duty ensembles look effortless, sticking to a colour palette of dark tones and wearing skinny jeans and tailored blazers. Hair was worn away from the face, in topknots and loose ponytails, while make-up paired dark smoky eyes with neutral lips and flawless foundation. Layering was practised perfectly, with denim jackets thrown over chunky knits and all-weather wellington boots paired with utilitarian macs – in contrast to the multi-coloured, frilled outfits being prepared for the catwalk.
