Founded in 1976, Eugenio Lumbreras creates fine jewellery that is designed and made by hand in Spain using top-quality materials. The brand’s skilled goldsmiths create stunning pieces featuring emeralds, pearls and more. Carrera y Carrera Dragon’s Passion necklace, €11,900
The origins of the Carrera y Carrera brand date back to 1885: more than 130 years later, the brand has become synonymous with unique jewellery designs. One of the latest collections, Círculos de Fuego (circles of fire), is based on the Japanese myth of the Orochi dragon. It features rings adorned with vibrant precious stones, statement dragon-shaped earrings and this necklace in 18-carat yellow gold, Palmera quartz, yellow sapphires and diamonds.

Tous Sky Power earrings, €269
Called Real Jewel, Tous’s spring/summer collection is divided into five different themes:Super Power, Gempowered, Color Power, Mossaic Power and Sky Power. The symbolic meaning of feathers serves as the inspiration for the last of these: drawing on the silhouette of the feather, the jewellery designs are finished with coloured gemstones. Having started out as a small shop in Barcelona almost a century ago, Tous now has a global presence with stores worldwide.

Poison Jewels choker necklace in silver and French silk, €150
Poison Jewels, established by Marta Blanco, is one of the most recent brands to emerge from Barcelona. Called Poppies, the spring/summer collection was unveiled in March: it comprises bracelets, earcuffs and headpieces that incorporate the vibrant red flower to striking effect. All Poison Jewels pieces are made in Barcelona.

Lladró masked cat pendant, €95
Founded by three brothers in the 1950s, Lladró is now known worldwide for its distinctive porcelain designs, including intricate sculptures, figurines, lighting, candles and tableware. Lladró also creates jewellery pieces, spanning everything from earrings to cufflinks and hairpins, as well as this pendant of a cat hiding behind a golden mask.
