This Christmas, Le Méridien Barcelona’s varied programme of seasonal events makes sure none of its guests have to sacrifice the magic of the festive period while they’re away from home.
The hotel’s family suites are ideal for families looking to stay together; expect every detail to be taken care of, from the check-in space designed to suit young and old to spacious rooms equipped with a Nintendo Wii and various games, entertaining Christmas films and even, on request, a Christmas tree that guests can decorate to their own taste.
This time of year is known for bringing people together and CentOnze Restaurant is the perfect place to celebrate with work colleagues or friends. A wide selection of menus is available, developed by chef Eugeni Cortés, which can be adapted to suit any special requests. Menu options include a choice of four hot and four cold tapas dishes (from €28), a selection of sharing starters and a main course (from €39), or a full three-course meal (from €50), available for lunch or dinner.
For the holidays, a selection of traditional dishes has been created for special occasions including Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas Day lunch, a New Year’s Day buffet and lunch for Epiphany on 6 January. Guests can sit back, relax and enjoy their meal without worrying about preparation or clearing up at the end.
On New Year’s Eve, CentOnze will host a gala dinner, beginning at 8.30pm. From 11pm, the Liceo room hosts a party that will allow hotel guests and locals to welcome in the new year in style (from €35).
Guests who wish to spend the seasonal period shopping or strolling along La Rambla can head to the hotel’s Hub to relax with a warm drink and an éclair, or visit Le Pop Cocktail Bar and enjoy the views while sipping a classic cocktail. The cocktail selection has been given a modern twist with the addition of sparkling drinks, as part of the hotel’s LM Sparkling programme.
