Takashimaya Department Store celebrates the 2019 Chinese year of pig with a festive line-up of celebrations, gifts and foodie delights on Takashimaya Square. Located on level B2, until 3 February, the 2019 celebrations follow the Chinese tradition of showing love and appreciation to family and friends. In Chinese culture, pigs symbolise wealth, great fortune and prosperity, and those born in the year of the pig have a love of entertainment and personal treats. For 2019, Takashimaya Department Store embraces the love of festive delights with a marketplace of more than 60 booths, offering sweet treats, decorations, food gifts and symbolic home accessories and furnishings. There is also an Abundance family celebration fair every day, from 10am to 9.30pm, where you can pick up an abundance of delectable lunar New Year delights, gifts and home decoration.
However you choose to mark the occasion, your loved one is sure to receive blessings of good fortune and prosperity throughout the year and beyond.
