Luxury Swiss watchmaker Patek Philippe joins the heart of Singapore at Marina Bay Sands this autumn with its fifth annual The Art of Watches grand exhibition of luxury watchmaking. Coinciding with Singapore’s bicentennial anniversary this year, the milestone exhibition opens from 28 September to 13 October. It celebrates Patek Philippe’s 180-year watchmaking history and legacy of watch salons on Geneva’s rue du Rhône, its manufacturing houses and renowned Patek Philippe Museum attraction.
Divided into two departments, the celebratory exhibition will display everything from historic 16th century pieces to contemporary models across 10 themed rooms, showcasing the brand’s craftsmanship, grand complication evolution and intricate design history. There will also be a special room for the watchmaker’s rarest and most special pieces to celebrate Singapore’s bicentennial anniversary.
