Hanami serves Japanese fusion, and is the hottest place in town at the moment; also Plah (Thai fusion) and Restaurant Ni & Tyve. More casual options are Trancher, an amazing steakhouse, and Delicatessen, an old-style tapas place with great ambience and food.

Aku-Aku is a great place; it’s small, but has some of the best cocktails in town.
Where do you take friends who are visiting Oslo?
The most popular place to take visitors is Ekebergrestauranten because it is chic and on top of a hill, so has an amazing sea view, However, my number one spot is a restaurant called Grefenskollen which is not so well known and more secluded, with incredible sea and city views, food and Norwegian décor.
Where do you like to celebrate?
The Restaurant Eik Annen Etage, on the second floor of the Hotel Continental.
Do you have a favourite walk in your city?
I’m from the east side of Oslo, and during spring I love to walk from there all the way down to the sea on the west side.
