Emilio Pucci’s colourful history dates back to 1947 when Harpers Bazaar featured an extraordinary ski suit designed by the fashionable Florentine for a close friend. Soon journalists and customers began flocking to Florence for a glimpse of the designer’s collections. Emilio Pucci opened a boutique in Capri in 1950 which was an instant hit among the international style community. The Pucci label became characterised by the brightly patterned dresses and sportswear on offer. This season, visit the recently opened Emilio Pucci store on Allenby Street for peacock-coloured maxidresses and embellished frock coats in espresso shades.
