The Japan Shopping Tourism Organisation (JSFO) has launched its first shopping festival this Christmas, following on from the rising success of other shopping extravaganzas worldwide, including the Vogue Fashion’s Night Out annual event.
To go one step further, the JFSO team has launched a three-month shopping event across Japan’s popular shopping areas.
From 1 December, visitors to Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka can enjoy a number of fashion-led events, shopping discounts of up to 70% and beauty exclusives from a number of premium brands.
Leading department stores Isetan Shinjuku and Mitsukoshi in Tokyo are also offering their own selection of promotional items.
Running until 28 February 2014, the event will also see local airlines offering Japanese merchandise and travel competitions to luxury destinations worldwide.
