Gucci is one of the top trending names in fashion thanks to creative director Alessandro Michele’s unconventional and highly Instagrammable designs. This season, Gucci has collaborated with legendary Harlem couturier Dapper Dan to create a unisex collection based on his signature looks, inspired by the New York hip-hop scene of the late 1980s and early 90s. Dapper Dan is famous for his eclectic urban street style and the new range gives these design traits a Gucci twist, with GG tracksuits, GG-branded trainers and bucket hats emblazoned with an interlocking G pattern. Highlights include luxury tracksuits, gold-printed python and jacquard knits, and the collection offers the perfect synergy between these two creative powerhouses. The stunning campaign is shot by photographer Ari Marcopoulos on the streets of New York’s Harlem neighbourhood, using models and young personalities from the area.
