The first Coin Excelsior premium contemporary department store opened in Rome in the city’s central Via Cola di Rienzo luxury shopping street in April 2014. The 4,300 square-metre space is spread over three floors and has been completely redesigned by architect Vincenzo De Cotiis to feature a 20th-century interior with an art nouveau feel. This is an upward evolution for the brand, which translates into carefully selected Italian and international fashion names, cosmetics and fragrances, as well as home décor and fine food, all set out in the most elegant of spaces, to offer customers a unique, vibrant shopping experience.
Cosmetics, fragrances and jewellery are on the ground floor, from the Tiffany shop-in-shop to the must-haves from the top international perfumers, together with a selection of contemporary brands.
The first floor is all about luxury fashion. Marc by Marc Jacobs, Valentino Red, Joseph, Lauren by Ralph Lauren, Armani Collezioni, Patrizia Pepe and Pinko are just some of the names in the range dedicated to womenswear. Paul Smith, Z Zegna, Barba, Lardini, Finamore and many other brands are available in the menswear department, which is aimed at the discerning customer looking for sophisticated and practical everyday garments for their day-to-day look, for the office or for leisure.
The basement is home to an innovative Italian food market and the Coincasa homewares store.
