There’s never a dull moment at Milan Fashion Week. With some of the world’s most influential brands, including Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino and Fendi, all offering pieces that are sure to be AW17’s bestsellers, it is always a highlight of the fashion year.
Gucci once again marched to the beat of its own drum with a huge collection sporting its signature 70s revival prints, this time with the iconic logo on sweatbands. Gender fluidity was also a major factor here, with boys and girls sharing the catwalk. Romantic musings were a popular theme with brands such as Alberta Ferretti making the case for rich jewel tones and a distinctly Venetian theme. Many designers also shunned winter’s signature black, with softer browns dominating the AW17 shows. Take a look at the best trends for AW17 as seen at Milan Fashion Week here.
