Following a successful preview at Salone del Mobile Milan 2019, British designer Tom Dixon brings his unique Design Research Studio to the heart of the city with a revolutionary shop-and-dine restaurant showroom. The 100-seater diner is designed to provide an immersive experience with multiple atmospheric rooms.
Serving up the finest Italian cuisines, the unique British-Italian space presents the designer’s latest creations and bestselling products throughout each room, including the dining area. The entrance hall highlights the new illuminating Opal lighting range, while the dining hall offers guests a communal lunch and dinner setting, with long cork monastic-style dining tables, and new Fat dining chairs upholstered in the latest Raf Simons design for Kvadrat.
The courtyard lounge takes inspiration from the jungle, with a rich green setting featuring bespoke marble tables by Testi and JKL Design Studio, accessorised with aluminium plant pots, stones from Mount Edna in Sicily and blooming flowers from Sardinia. New collections include Fat, the new upholstered chair range; Opal, the opalescent globe lighting family; and Spring, an abstract, industrial-inspired lamp range constructed from stainless steel.
Don’t forget to drop by the home accessories store after your meal for a unique Tom Dixon object that can take centre stage at home.
