The Dolce & Gabbana spring/summer 2017 show bought southern Italian spirit to the runways with the Tropico Italiano collection. Taking inspiration from the quintessential Italian Riviera holiday, the collection featured a burst of colour and fun with cocktail and gelato prints, fruit and flower turbans, and an assortment of covetable new-season accessories. Slim 1940s-inspired skirts were teamed with elegant snakeskin purse bags, while sequined minis and neat bolero-style jackets were styled with fun sailor motifs and seashell-adorned bags.
This season the Lucia bag is one of Dolce & Gabbana’s most sought-after handbags. The iconic bag has been restyled and reworked in a series of different hues and textures, from sophisticated snakeskin to suede variations with sequined slogan patches.
Many of the models carried two bags down the catwalks, sparking a new trend in how to wear your handbag this season. Why not try it with our edit of the SS17 Dolce & Gabbana handbags?
