Social media has had a huge impact on the way designers showcase their collections. Brands are looking for new ways to capture the attention of both the front row and the fashion industry, with images of the collection uploaded before, during and after the show. Spectacular set designs have reached a new level of creativity at the fashion weeks. Shows have become an extension of the brand and the sets are just as memorable as the collections themselves. The more theatrical the catwalk is, the more attention it garners on social media.
