Controversial artist MIA is never one to do things by halves, so it comes as no surprise that her latest foray into fashion, a collaboration collection with Versus Versace, is a real style statement.
Inspired by the bootleg Versace clothes she found at London markets as a teenager, MIA’s designs for Versus feature famous Versace emblems, from the Versace logo to the gold medallions and interlocking Greek key, blown up and clashed together in graphic prints. In stores from 16 October, the 19-piece collection has items for both men and women, including printed jeans, silk shirts, jersey dresses and military-inspired outerwear.
