The Nike Free Run series has been designed to produce the most natural motion for your foot as you run, with the most advanced models being the next best thing to running barefoot.
Deep slices across the midsole arch enhance the flexibility and strength, giving more freedom to the foot. The upper Dynamic Fit structured sock liner, developed by Nike’s senior footwear designer Mark Miner, follows the curvature of the foot and therefore increases comfort and support.
‘For the Nike Free Run+, we incorporated these very thin sliced grooves and what that does is allow the midsole to move even more, especially under the arch, and you’re going to feel that more natural ride from the heel to the fore foot,’ Miner says.
Nike Free Run is a truly exceptional product, which adapts itself not only to the wearer’s foot but to the wearer’s personal preferences. It is available in three grades: the Nike Free Run+ 5.0, which caters for newcomers to barefoot-style running and features the Dynamic Fit upper sole; the 4.0 for runners with more experience; and the extra-light 3.0, which is the most barefoot-style shoe, providing a sock-like fit as the sole moves with the foot as you run.
