Any advice for visitors?
Visit the Alster and take a boat tour around the little canals that are all over Hamburg; go to the Elbe and take a boat tour; visit Blankenese, one of the most beautiful areas in Hamburg, to see the Treppenviertel (step quarter). Make a stop at Isemarkt, one of the biggest and friendliest markets in town. And visit in summer. Hamburg really is the most beautiful city in the world when the sun is shining!
Which is your favourite city in the world?
My home town, because of my family and friends, the variety of things you can do and the fresh air because we are so close to the sea.
