Rathause Schöneberg flea market
To enjoy a perfect Sunday in Berlin, head to the famous flea market in Schöneberg. The area is known as the home of artists and littérateurs, and the small square where the market is held was also the location for US president John F Kennedy’s famous ‘Ich bin ein Berliner’ speech in June 1963, so has plenty of historic appeal. The 70 stalls present everything from second-hand clothes to books and gadgets, and this is a great place to do some souvenir hunting. The market is held every Saturday and Sunday, from 8am-4pm.
