Van Cleef & Arpels pays homage to rubies in the majestic Treasure of Rubies high jewellery collection. Introduced in one of the first creations in the 1937 Mystery Set, rubies have remained a staple in Van Cleef & Arpels collections ever since. Rubies were among the Arpels brothers’ favourite stones, and remain close to the heart of the jewellery brand for their passionate, expressive glow. Rubies are especially prized in India, where they are referred to as the king of gems. Their secrets take time to discover and explore.
The new collection includes more than 3,000 carats of certified rubies, a stone that has inspired the Arpels brothers since they voyaged through India and the Far East during the 1950s and 70s. Taking inspiration from the fiery heart of the precious stone, Treasure of Rubies continues the brothers’ inspirational adventure with a new collection of exceptional pieces that would grace any red carpet.
