Anyone who has ever been to Paris will have a story about that bargain designer jacket or dream pair of shoes bought in a great little vintage shop down a back street of the Marais or in Palais Royal. The search for this magic address turns into a quest, an endless follow-up of recommendations, but possibly later into bitter disappointment. Paris is in no rush to share its secrets. Familiar with this problem, we reveal five of the best vintage shops in Paris.
Set in a warehouse-like space in the heart of the Marais, Kiliwatch is the destination for perfect Breton tops, dream boyfriend jeans and luscious bohemian dresses. Catering for both men and women, Kiliwatch presents a selection of de rigueur fashions; finding an oversized hoodie with a slogan or an embroidered Victorian cape will not be a problem.
