Show Report: Chloé Spring/Summer 2012

Clare Waight Keller played it relatively safe with her debut collection for Chloé, focusing on clean cuts, feminine detailing and soft, falling pleats. Loose layers were built up over tunic-style tops and wide casual trousers and drawn in by thick low-slung belts and schoolboy blazers. White was the dominant colour, broken by thin stripes in aquamarine and light caramel, with the occasional floral accent advancing up trouser legs or blooming on chiffon blouses.
