Barbara Bui opened its runway show with a selection of soft leather pieces from skinny crops to bodycon mini dresses. Sharp and tailored suit jackets and trousers received a new-season update with splashes of cream, ivory and charcoal.
Smart cropped-front blazers were matched with classic wide-legged trousers and simple crew-neck tops for a chic business wardrobe. Jackets across the collection were cropped and paired with cap-sleeved waistcoats with shimmer metallic details.
Warm neutral tones featured on a variety of sheer chiffon tops, from blouses to casual loose-fitting jackets. In homage to the sport-luxe trend that dominated the shops this summer, Barbara Bui updated the look for next year. Gone are sports-inspired blazers in favour of powder-blue long-line jackets with sheer block-colour panelling and matching tops for a refreshing smart-casual new season look.
Playing with prints, Barbara Bui sent its models down the runway in metallic cube-patterned pieces, teamed with loose-fitting shirts and oversized accessories. Bright and colourful floral-print accessories were introduced to close the show as a hint of what’s to come next season.
