9.10am: Stella McCartney stuck to her signature tailoring this morning in a collection of masculine shapes infused with feminine touches. Coats were oversized and boxy with a draped front secured with one side button. Thinking outside of the box, McCartney added vibrant purple for a splash of colour.

3:25pm: After a relatively quiet morning following Stella McCartney we were pumped up and ready to go for the Paco Rabanne show this afternoon. The collection did not disappoint, with Paco Rabanne’s signature 60s space-age style channelled brilliantly by new head designer Lydia Maurer to blend with clothes that were most definitely new age and very modern. Chainmail dresses and monochrome numbers were abundant, as well as that hot item we keep seeing again and again at the shows: the pleated skirt.

7.37pm: Our day ended with the Saint Laurent show, where new director Hedi Slimane took the collection back to college. The preppy American high school look was updated with accents that ranged from glamorous to grunge, including sequins, oversized furs, tartan prints and embellished tights, for a new spin on the college rebel look.
