Louis Vuitton is one of the world’s most coveted brands, with every collection causing waves in the fashion industry. This month, the house has revealed its latest product launch with its first collection of perfumed candles. Following on from its first ever perfume campaign in September, the brand continues its foray into scent with four beautiful new home candles.
The Louis Vuitton candles have been designed by Marc Newson and feature minimal ceramic cases with gold lids and chic leather handles – a fitting nod to the brand’s leather heritage. The scented candles have been blended by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud who was inspired by the idea of scents wafting in through an open window. Each candle has a different fragrance, signified by a coloured wick. L’Air du Jardin captures the scent of roses in the garden; Île Blanche channels warm sun and white cotton; Dehors Il Neige symbolises the magic of snowflakes; and Feuilles d’Or is inspired by scorched underbrush that permeates clothes during a walk in the woods.
The new Louis Vuitton candles are not only chic but would also make wonderful souvenirs from Paris this month and are available from 5 November.
