Fifi Chachnil on rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau for lingerie; gallery-store Arty Dandy on rue de Furstenberg; Ofr on rue Dupetit-Thouars; and, for vintage, Chez Sarah at Passage Lécuyer on rue Lécuyer in Saint-Ouen.

Do you have a favourite walk?
From the Cinémathèque Française on rue de Bercy, through Parc de Bercy, across passerelle Simone de Beauvoir to Piscine Joséphine Baker on quai François Mauriac, and ending at the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand on the same road.
What’s the best city landmark?
I love the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand and its indoor forest.
What do you think is the best museum in Paris?
The Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature on rue des Archives.
Any secret spots you don’t want out-of-towners to know about?
My peaceful corner on the edge of the river Seine near Île Saint-Louis.

Rue des Rosiers on Saturday afternoon.

Grab a Vélib (a free public rental bike) and ride across Paris without a map.
What can’t you live without?
A bicycle to ride around town.
