From 9 March to 16 September, the Louvre’s Arts Décoratifs exhibition space will dedicate two of its floors to the work of Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs, with one storey featuring the work of each designer. This entertaining, interactive display of everything related to fashion will showcase the designers’ entire oeuvre. Designed by Sam Gainsbury and Joseph Bennett, the unique show promises to surprise fashion aficionados with live mannequins, previously unseen photographs and three-dimensional visuals pirouetting around the exhibits. Highlights include one of Louis Vuitton’s very first travel chests, created in 1869, and an accompanying book by author and curator Pamela Golbin.
