‘If you’re looking for a traditional French restaurant, Aux Crus de Bourgogne has been around for the past 60 years. I love coming here for lunch when I have a bit of spare time, as the staff are so friendly and everything they serve is delicious.
‘Le Meurice hotel is the ultimate Parisian experience, facing the Jardin des Tuileries on the famous rue de Rivoli. They will take the utmost care of you. It was my own salon’s home for many years. Its bar, Le Dali, is legendary. Dalí and the creative community would come together here.
‘For skincare treatments I have been seeing Joëlle Ciocco and using her products for over 20 years. For a facial like no other, I always recommend stopping by her spa in place de la Madeleine.
‘Maison Vertumne is a flower genius that will compose your ideal arrangement: the one you would create from your dream garden. They can see to your every wish with the most wonderful flowers.
‘La Pâtisserie du Meurice par Cédric Grolet is a must! Cédric’s pastries are as beautiful as they are delicious.
‘An unlikely place, Marché aux Puces de la Porte de Vanves is my favourite flea market, and one where I’ve found many treasures, from real china and Baccarat crystal glasses to the most impressive rugs.
‘When I’m shopping for a gift I always stop by Nose, a lovely apothecary – they have a wonderful selection of fragrances and other natural products. I was gifted a perfume I adore a few years ago, and this was the only place I could find a refill in Paris. I remember visiting and falling in love with rue Bachaumont, where one of the shop spaces was available and the rest is history! [The Christophe Robin salon and boutique moved to rue Bachaumont in 2016.]
‘A walk down memory lane – when I first arrived in Paris at 17 years old, I started working for Yves Saint Laurent, a friendship and a collaboration that lasted until his last breath. It’s a very emotional experience to walk through his atelier at the Musée Yves Saint Laurent.’
