Balmain establishes a presence on rue Saint-Honoré in Paris with its second flagship store in the French capital. Spanning two floors, the new boutique is home to the luxury label’s full collection of clothing, footwear and accessories for men and women. Designed by the brand’s creative director Olivier Rousteing and Studio AMV, the store follows the concept of Parisian residential architecture, entwined with elements of Balmain’s dynamic signature style.
The new Balmain house takes visitors on an intimate journey through the brand’s key looks and styles with a series of connected rooms, each inspired by the design and function of a Parisian living space. The store highlights Balmain’s signature colour palette of chic black and rich gold across the store, including gold mannequin window displays and door frames.
The fashion rooms on the upper level are decorated with ceiling-height mirrors at varying angles, while archways to each conjoining room present a new interior design with diamond print, marble flooring and ceiling-height spot lamps, reminiscent of a Paris Fashion Week catwalk. The footwear and accessories department on the ground floor presents the uplifting side of Balmain, with polished gold block cabinets, LED-lit archways and large, elegant pouffe-style lounge sofas as the centrepiece. For extra glamour, giant chandeliers shine brightly above gold-decorated glass cabinets, home to the key accessories of the season.
