A new star has appeared on Helsinki’s roster of fine restaurants. Earlier this year the Michelin Red Guide awarded Luomo the illustrious Bib Gourmand for its innovative molecular cuisine created under the auspices of chef Jouni Toivanen. The frequently changing set menu is based around local food and global tastes. Since Luomo opened in June 2009, it has won rave reviews for standout dishes such as elk tartare meatballs.
