Swarovski, one of Austria’s best-known companies, has been producing its iconic crystals since 1895. Inspired by the brand’s heritage and its links to the Parisian couture houses of the early 1900s, in 2007 Nadja Swarovski, the great-great-granddaughter of founder Daniel Swarovski, launched the Atelier Swarovski line. Paying tribute to the brand’s long-standing collaborations in the world of high fashion, each season Atelier Swarovski invites a different designer to create a capsule collection of high-end pieces. For autumn/winter 2017, the brand turned to New York-based Jason Wu, who took the contemporary aesthetic of his own house and translated it into a 15-piece collection which combines refined glamour with a modern sensibility. The undoubted star of the collection is the Mosaic neckpiece, which contains over 80 glimmering crystals – perfect for making a dramatic statement when worn with elegant evening attire.
