For Chinese Golden Week, Global Blue and its strategic partner Alipay roll out a European campaign through 8 key shopping destinations to enhance Chinese travellers’ experience.
From September 20th to October 20th, to maximise drive-to-store and increase footfall, Alipay and Global Blue, together with their 16 partner brands, will give Chinese shoppers the opportunity to enjoy an extra 20% on their tax refund amount. Chinese travellers will only need to pay with Alipay in one of the 85 participating stores located in Paris, London, Barcelona, Madrid, Munich, Rome, Milan, and Florence to benefit from this offer.
To reach relevant Chinese travellers, Global Blue and Alipay have developed a cross-channel campaign utilising a variety of digital and physical touchpoints before and during the Chinese tourist’s travels.
