Hailing from Ontario, Canada, twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten have worked in the international fashion business since 1984, after moving to New York City in 1983 to attend the Parsons School of Design. In 1991 they went to Italy and after many collaborations with top fashion houses, they had their first men’s collection show in 1994. This marked the first in a long succession of runway extravaganzas that captured the attention of journalists and buyers as a result of the brother’s dynamic combination of fashion, music and theater.
The Saint Honoré boutique is an 800 square-metre space with three grand display windows overlooking the prestigious Parisian street. The store displays merchandise on all three floors and is part of the façade of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. In keeping with the brand’s style and that of its others boutiques the Parisian flagship store will be infused with Canadian elements, for example native wood timber to replicate the atmosphere of the great Canadian outdoors.
